1 – How does Safe Keeping Immigration obtain your personal information?

We take immediate action by conducting an investigation, reporting the potential breach and taking immediate corrective action to mitigate the impact on those whose information is affected. In the case of a substantial breach, that is, one that involves sensitive personal information and that could reasonably be expected to cause harm or serious prejudice to the individual concerned, Safe Keeping Immigration has an obligation to inform the individual concerned, in addition to informing the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
