- You must obtain a “Certificat de Sélection du Québec”, the CSQ.
- You must apply for permanent residence from within Canada.
The Quebec Experience Program (QEP)
This program is for temporary foreign workers or Quebec graduates who wish to become permanent residents.
The Regular Skilled Worker Program (PRTQ)
This program is indicated for foreigners who want to work in Quebec and become permanent residents. Because of the drawbacks of the old law based on the "first come - first served" principle, the Quebec government is introducing a new system similar to the Express Entry system by the law of August 2018.
